Born in Arizona, Eric knew from an early age that he wanted to enter the ministry in spite of being raised in a non-Christian home. He began preparing himself for the ministry, attending Walla Walla College and earning bachelor's degrees in theology and communication. Upon graduation, he and new wife Rita moved to Michigan, where Eric completed his Master’s of Divinity at Andrews University. Moving to Seattle, they accepted their first job as senior pastors of New Life Christian Fellowship in Woodinville, Washington where they served for 14 years. In 2002, Eric and Rita moved with their daughter Alyssa to Portland Oregon and founded Eastside Foursquare Church giving birth to a new entrepreneurial model of ministry

David and Arly have been part of Eastside for more than 8 years. They have been married for 35 years, have a married son and amazing granddaughters. Arlene enjoys interacting with the kids at Eastside and singing. "Our heart is to be fully engaged and participating in what God is doing in Parkrose and Portland."  

Pastor Dennis Blevins

 Dennis' desire to see people grow to maturity in Christ is reflected by his lifetime of ministry with The Navigators and with church pastors and leaders. He has a passion for the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, loves his family, and enjoys an occasional game of golf or basketball. 

Gary & Dalaine Bowen

Gary is a native Portlander, has been a Christian since he was nine, and served as a medic in Vietnam. Gary met Pastor Eric when he was an intern at the church he was attending 25 years ago.

Gary has a background in computer programming and spent 33 years working for various companies in the Portland area. He has a wonderful and fun wife, Dalaine, who keeps him on his toes! Gary loves our church and the concept that it brings to the community.

Gary enjoys all sports (his favorite is playing hockey) but he currently plays only racquetball and golf.

Once he was caught in a whiteout climbing Mt. Hood. He and two of his friends dug a snow cave around the 9000-foot level and stayed in it for about three hours before coming back down the mountain.  

Beverly Rotondo

Beverly Rotondo spends her days serving God and taking care of her family. She is mother to three grown (nearly perfect) children and a grandmother to three young (perfect) grandkids. She has been married to her husband, and best friend, Steve for 35 years. Aside from her love of God and family, Beverly enjoys reading and she is also an avid online gamer (to assist the grandkids, of course).

Tim & Jill Leitner

Tim and Jill have traveled to many ineresting places worldwide both as tourists and as missionaries.  God has taken them to the Phillippines, Europe, Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua during their 16+ year marriage.

One of the greatest adventures they have participated together in was developing a mission department for East Hill Church, along with a fantastic team of leaders.  Tim and Jill are blessed with a "pioneer spirit" where they GO, DEVELOP, and RELEASE.  This is evident not only in the local church but also in the ministry they've been a part of outside of the United States.

Tim and Jill's hobbies include travel, photography, hiking, biking, cooking, and mentoring.  Most of which they enjoy together.  They have three adult children, Melissa, Timothy Jr., and Hannah and four grandchildren.  Tim leads a successful construction company in the Portland area.
